Production Manager
Responsibilities
- All activities pertaining to lab and production, including supervisor training, operator training, new operator hiring, increased operator efficiencies, higher multiplication ratio (2.5 – 3.0), lower contamination (1%), right media formulation at the right stages, proper bottle washing & storage, etc.
- Ensuring right protocols & practices are followed – for example: on LAF, in PGR, while bottle washing, in media, at time of bottle storage, during autoclave, at time of entry & exit into lab, during material movement into & outside lab, etc.
- Punctuality & discipline protocols are followed by all operators
- Ensuring standardized protocols are followed for superior plant quality
- Setting production plan & ensuring it is rightly followed
- Sucker selection – personal visits to plots
- Initiation on regular basis with minimum 70% success ratio
- Maintaining all records pertaining to DBT & fulfilling necessary compliances in timely & regular manner
- Monthly meetings & coordination with marketing team (on production & schedule for dispatch)
- Proper, timely, & efficient record maintenance in all departments
- Weekly reporting & discussion with the Management on status of production & other site activities
- Maintaining Stock levels of all chemicals, fertilizers, & items
- Procurement (Right negotiation & timely order placement)
- Repairs & Servicing of all machineries in timely manner
- Overlooking new product development & protocol standardization for commercial production
